Check this iOS game out called Sushi Monster. As the name suggests it will have you racing against the clock to serve up sushi dishes to various monsters in order to make it to the next level but beware, a wrong answer results in broken plates and a very unhappy monster.

Retail: $35.95 4.5 out of 5 Stars!

Casecrown has updated its product line of iPad cases to support the new iPad and has added a new updated version of their Omni case. I have reviewed the Omni for the iPad 2 and I also gave it a good review but this one is much better and tops the previous version. Casecrown offers its new Omni in Carbon Fiber and regular Black options. I have the Carbon fiber version and might I add, the pictures on their website do not give you a true representation on how the carbon fiber really looks. Casecrown also plans to have it available in Purple, Green, Orange, Lime Green, as well as Navy Blue and Purple in the Carbon Fiber design. So lets dive into my review!

Pros

Auto wake/sleep works great and the magnets are strong enough to hold the cover in stand mode without falling apart.

Carbon fiber design is very cool and I would recommend this option over regular black. Its very stylish and gives it the extra bling without being “cheap or ugly”

All ports for buttons are aligned well.

Smart cover like design for typing angle and portrait mode work great.

Reasonably priced, and worth the cost.

Matte black finish on the shell of the case is a little smoother than previous version.

Cons

Not designed to offer superior protection from drops.

Headphone port could be wider for larger headphones.

Due to the matte finish and carbon fiber design it will attrach some fingerprints on the front and more on the matte back side.

Magnets could be slightly stronger.

Cover slightly raises near side of the hinge, won’t always lay completely flat.

Will watch for cracks or possible flaws in corners (some cases have this issue).

Conclusion

This is a great case and my favorite that Casecrown has to offer on their iPad product line. It won’t offer a superior amount of protection but for those who want a stylish and sleek design while covering your iPad then this will do. If you want to pick one up you can check it out on Casecrown’s website. Don’t forget to try out the carbon fiber one. Thanks Casecrown!

Now that I have been able to spend some more time using Speck’s Pixelskin HD wrap for the new iPad I have a few more things to mention. First let me mention I wanted this case to hold up and be amazing. I also appreciate Speck’s unique designs. This is an improvement over their previous design but due to price and a few problems with their features I have some complaints.

Here is my biggest complaint: Speck had months after the release of the new iPad to have their cases ready. Speck has also said on their twitter feed that they wanted to make sure that they had the right fit for the case. However other companies had cases available very soon after release that worked and fit fine.

You would think waiting for their case, would help make it problem free.

- Rolling up the cover as a stand like the smart cover is just ANNOYING. You would have to use it only on a table to get it to work. Since all your doing is rolling it up.

- More debris and fingerprints get stuck between pixels on case.

- The magnet will still put my iPad to sleep and awaken it but when I flip the cover into book mode, it has put it to sleep again (problem).

- Some are reporting that their magnet in their case wont keep the iPad asleep. I haven’t had this problem though.

-Due to the material and design of the cover it wont always stay where you want it and sometimes will not want to stay flat.

- The edges of the case will bring up my screen protecter and sometimes start to slip off the edge a little.

- Speck had its cases available at some targets before people could buy it on their website and for cheaper. They ended up charging $49.99 on their website while Target was only $39.99. This frustrated alot of people on twitter along with me because that were patiently waiting for the case. Its harder to recommend the case at $49.99.

Overall

It would be easier to me to recommend this case even with its problems at $39 because its still a nice looking and stylish case, If your going to spend $50 on a case their are more options with more protection and features. Hopefully Speck will address these problems.

Speck has come out with an updated version of their popular iPad 2 case, the Pixelskin HD Wrap. This time around Speck has finally added some much need features. The case is offically available in Target stores by April 15th but some have arrived early already, found mine at my local super target. Speck has mentioned they should be available sometime soon on their website to order. So lets dive into the case.

So far I have had it for a day so expect a full review later on. Heres my first impressions.

Pros:

Speck has finally added the sleep wake function to this case and it will awake you device!

Very stylish improved design with even more “pixels” from their previous design on the iPad 2. Also very thin and form fitting.

Speck has replaced the old closure system using “gecko tape” with a nice plastic snap closure that feels much more secure.

Smart cover like stand along with a new stand option using the plastic closure.

Picked it up at my local target for $39.99.

Cons:

This case will pick up some fingerprints but doesn’t bother me too much.

I have noticed when I flip the cover over to book mode it put my iPad to sleep accidently but I cant always recreate the problem every time.

Interested to see how the front cover (where it is attached to case) wears over time.

Overall

I love this case, and now it is my favorite. I love the stylish design and it has all the features I want in a case without adding bulk. I’ll watch to see how the case wears and if any problems arise. Stay tuned!

Don’t get me wrong, I love many of the products that SwitchEasy puts out but the latest offering for the new iPad just plain stinks! Now you might think I am bashing the case but I am not, what I am trying to say is the new CoverBuddy smells really really bad. So bad that I could actually smell it before even removing it from the package. Needless to say, I am in the process of airing out the shells (I have 4 out of the 5 that I ordered) and hope this is just a temporary thing.

All smells aside, this shell does have some good points so check out my video below to get all the details (Without Smell-O-Vision… thankfully!)
