Sony announced details this past week at GDC about their PlayStation motion controller called “PlayStation Move”.

PlayStation Move will launch later this year. Sony plans to offer different packages including a starter pack, which includes a PlayStation Move, a PlayStation Eye and an unannounced game for under $100.

For those of you who do not own the Sith Edition of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, your chance to play the exclusive hoth level is coming soon… very soon!

Actually, PS3 owners your soon = now as you can download the content today for $9.99 while Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until February 23rd to get their hands on it.

“Lost in Nightmares” for Resident Evil 5  released today on Xbox Live (tomorrow on PSN) for 400 Microsoft Points ($5).

An additional Costume Pack is also available for 180 points ($2).

The “Desperate Escape,” content pack #2 will also cost 400 points / $4.99 and should launch in early March 2010.

It’s been out for a while now in the US but if you have not played the game Darksiders you will have your chance on February 25th 2010.  According to Vigil GM (David Adams) this demo for both Xbox 360 and PS3 will take about 90 minutes for the average gamer to complete!

Vigil general manager David Adams explains in the demo’s announcement that the dev “really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers,” adding, “rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game.”

Just announced at Microsoft’s X10 event in San Francisco – Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta will launch this May 3rd 2010!

Great news for fans of the game Dragon Age!

EA is planning to launch a new Dragon Age title in Q4 of its fiscal 2011, which means sometime between January 1 and March 31, 2011.

The title is currently listed as “TBA – To be announced” and should release on Consoles, Handhelds and PC’s.

While I understand professional reviews need to break down things like Graphics, Gameplay, Replay Value, etc… I believe that at some point we need to bring back “Fun Factor”.

So what if the game rips a ton from God of War, does it look good? Does it play good? And most importantly is it FUN?

That’s really what I want to know and with that the waiting game begins for Feb 9th, when I can try out Dante’s Inferno for myself and give my own “unbiased” thoughts on if the game deserves the 75 avg score its netting thus far.

What do you all think? Are reviews overanalyzing games now days or am I just crazy?

So this weekend I went looking for a Wii since my old one broke on me (GPU Failure) and is out of warranty and to my surprise I found out they are still in great demand.

Best Buy, Gamestop, Sams Club, Walmart and Toys R Us were all out of stock. Most places I went to stated the same thing “you should have got here first thing in the morning if you wanted one”. However, later that day I was lucky enough to find one at my local Target but it really got me thinking.

Are Wii’s still that hard to find or is it just my area? What have been your findings?

We are getting mixed impressions on this one but would love to hear from the community on this.
