Now that the iPhone 5 is out many companies have updated their product lines for the new device. Today I’ll be reviewing three of Casecrown’s new and updated cases for the new iPhone 5, the Chameleon Glider, Bonbons Glider, and the Lux Snap On case. So let’s dive in.
Chameleon Glider
For this review I have the Blue/Purple color. My first impression of this case was surprising. Casecrown did a great job with manufacturing multiple colors. My first thought was. “Oh, this is more purplish than I thought” but in different lighting and angle it would change to a more blue purple.
This case offers the simple slider design for easy docking. There is a felt lining in the case to make for easier intallation however it does have a tight fit so you will want to make sure you clean your iPhone to clear any dust or debris to prevent any scratching that might occur from the tight fit. The case also has a lip that covers the bezel for a lay on the table design. This case does have a glossy finish and tends to slip a little bit when putting it in your pocket. You can also pick one up in Green variations and Brown variations.
For the price and quality of this case I give it a 4 out of 5.
Bonbons Glider
For this review I have the Silver Spoon color. Similar to the Chameleon case the Bonbons Glider If your looking for more of a simple slider case with one color then this is it. This case also features the same lay on the table design and also has the same glossy finish. I really like this case because it complements my black iPhone 5 very well. Im sure it would look great on the white model as well. You can also get it in Cotton Candy Pink, Vanilla Ice White and Bubblegum Blue.
For the price and quality of this case I give it a 4 out of 5.
Lux Snap On
For this review I have the Black color. The Lux Snap on case is actually a snap on case I wouldn’t mind using. I tend to stray away from snap on cases due to tight fit and lack of protection. Casecrown’s Lux Snap On case offers a great fit with easy installation and easy removal.It also has a nice thickness, not to thin or thick. The case also complements the iPhone’s color very well. Since this is a snap on case you won’t have full protection around the bezel so nicks and scratches on the bezel could be a problem. The Lux line offers snap on cases with a matte finish but If you would like more colors or styles Casecrown also offers them in the Bonbons style and Cali Style with various colors.
For the price and quality of this case I give it a 4.5 out of 5.
